Use this reference data to define the absence reasons that either a learner can select in Ontrack Learner Hub or staff in EBS Ontrack Staff Hub.
For each absence reason, you can add and edit the following information:

Code for the absence reason, such as 13.

Short description of the CENTURY class, such as Transport.

Long description of the absence reason, such as Transport problem.

Usage code the usage code for the absence reason that is marked on the register. For example, A (Absence).
Each absence reason requires a usage code so that the register will be marked accordingly on the day(s) of the absence. The usage code column contains register usage codes marked as Active. -
Active defines whether the absence reason can be selected in EBS Ontrack Learner Hub.

Staff auto accept defines whether the absence reason is automatically accepted when an absence is created by staff members.

Learner auto accept defines whether the absence reason is automatically accepted when an absence is created by learners.

Evidence required whether the learner must provide evidence for the absence, such as a doctors note.

Additional info required whether the learner must provide additional information for the absence.
